T800 - Pescadero Escape
If you want to have the 38th Governor of California in your home and make him do anything you want or even force him to watch your dancing while you're naked in front of him... there is no other easier and safer way than buying this Terminator figurine from Neca Toys and trust me, it's worth it.
This is Arnold Schwarzenegger figurine portraying T-800 in its human body from the movie of Terminator 2 Judgment Day, my favorite Terminator movie of all time.
The packaging...
Out of the box, not much to expect, just the figurine and 1 Winchester shot gun...
OK, as always, let's have a look at the figurine...
Let's see some of the fine details on this figurine... the jacket looks so real.... I'm loving it...
This jacket belong to that guy in the bar who said "You forgot to say please... hahahahaha" when T-800 approached him and asking for his cloth, boot and motorbike - that is in the very early part of the movie... if you remember it that is...
Look at the bullet holes on that jacket.... nicely done... good job by Neca...
Some details on the shot gun...
Articulation wise.. you can make the head turning left or right... the hand have a nice articulation and movement range... almost like Figma...
The waist/torso part also have some articulation, you can turn it to the left and right, just like the head...
Neca made this figurine so nice till they forgot to give decent articulation on its leg and this is where I'm a little disappointed.
Basically only the left hip/leg have some minimum range of movement, all you can do is to twist it to the left and the right and that's about it... at least they should allow the right leg/hip to also be able to do the same.... but they didn't...
No articulation on the knee for sure... this is all...
OK then, not much posing I can think of and these few photos is enough I think...
Overall this is still a very nice figurine. Apart from the lack of articulation/pivot points on the legs that I mentioned above, the only other complain I have is the lack of extra hands... or maybe I am asking too much for wishing such thing as probably I am too attached with Figma already... It seems nowadays any posable figurine, I will always compare them to the Figma... just a habit of mine... maybe
The details of this figurine is very astonishing and somehow due to that factor, I can forget about the minimum articulation problem.
Again, if you want to have the 38th Governor of California in your home or if you're a big fan of Terminator and Arnold Schwarzenegger, this figurine is a must.
For just SGD 35.00 there is nothing can beat this at that price... Negative, Asta La Vista Baby...

NECA figures are more like statues rather than toys to pose and play with.
