GFF RX-78NT-1 Alex (Part 1 of 2)

This is the exciting RX-78NT-1 Alex that appear in the Mobile Suit Gundam: War In The Pocket OVA piloted by Christina McKenzie facing off the Kaempfer and the Zaku II in the colony Side 6 on the very last moment of the One Year War.

As I forgot to bring home my Panasonic FZ28 last night... I end up doing the review using my Nokia 5610 XM... in a way it's a chance to me to see if the Nokia 5610 XM can handle the tasks accordingly or not...

By the way, the price in HLJ is 4,500 yen (about SGD 69.00) before adding the shipment charges, but if you are in Brunei, Shewsbury Land can provide this item for you at a special price of SGD 55.00 including shipment charges already - with around 9 days estimated arrival time. If you are interested, you can contact our sales team at kencing at hotmail dot com

Why so cheap? Because I am David John Shewsbury... that's why... hahaha...

The box...

Out of the box...

Damn those wires... take me some 10 to 15 minutes to take out everything...

So you will get all these stuff...

The Gundam...

Extra hands...

And all the extra armor parts and all the weapons...

And of coz the lovely action base/display stand...

The Nokia 5610 Xm seems to be able to handle macro shots as well... thanks to the nice Auto Focus system...

Let's see some of the details on the body of this Alex...

Just like any other GFF... the details and markings are absolutely excellent...

Lovely (damn ugly) painting mess from the factory...

Let's look at the body...

One thing that bother me about this Alex is the desin of the front skirt... maybe I'm wrong... but it seems to me that it will make some movement of the whole leg a little bit limited if not difficult... front kicking action is not possible at all...

This seems to be the maximum...

Luckily though... sideways wise... no problem what so ever... very nice...

Kneeling like this is easy...

Arms articulations is quite decent as well...

Some standing pose with the beam rifle and shield...

You can continue reading the Part 2 in here.

My first impression so far is that this is indeed a very nice GFF, quite sturdy and everything fits perfectly well and I like it so much.
