1/144 HG Arios Gundam
This is HG 1/144 Arios Gundam piloted by Allelujah/Hallelujah Haptism.
At 1,500 yen (about SGD 23.00 / AUD 18.00 / NZD 23.00 / USD 26.00) this is basically quite a cheap kit and yet it give you good value for your money as it comes with a display stand and of coz 2 beam saber part.
The box...
Not so much runners.... must be quite simple.... the stickers freak me out... I'm not so good with stickers...
But somehow it still take me some over 4 hours to work on this kit...
Let's have a look at the body...
Eventually I skip most of the stickers part... if you check out the front legs side as well as the top of the front skirt's armor... you know what I mean...
Articulation is pretty nice... I am quite happy with it... despite the way they design this MS, this Arios can still do this kneeling pose on its own accord...
Some kicking action is also possible....
Maximum stretch...
This is the display stand I mentioned earlier...
Some action pose with the weapon.... GN Beam Rifle...
GN Machine Gun 2 stored on the arm... both arms...
The beam saber is hidden underneath (or is it behind) the front skirt's armor...
2 beam sabers.... 1 long 1 short.... quite nice...
Just like in the anime, this Arios can be transformed into the Mobile Armor mode (MA)... it is something like a weird looking jet...
Transformation is quite easy and straight forward.... a nice improvement from the previous Kyrios Gundam...
I personally don't fance the MA mode so much... At the end I will display this as Arios Gundam in Mobile Suit mode (MS).
I mean, it's nice to see the MA mode on the anime... flying high and fast attacking the enemies but as a GunPlaMo kit or as a toy, I prefer the MS mode as at least I can change the action pose but as MA mode... it's just stationary like that... not my favorite.... just my personal taste though...
Side by side with Gundam Kyrios from the Season 1 of the anime....
Overall, just like in the anime, the GunPlaMo kit of Arios Gundam is an improved version of Kyrios. Can be transformed into MA mode and much easier than Kyrios on this department.
I dislike the way Kyrios holding the weapon and shield and the Arios seems to have a better and quite a normal way I would say...
In a very simple statement, Arios is much better than Kyrios and of coz I love Arios more than the Kyrios but there is nothing wrong to have them both (or rather it's a must to have them both) and you must also add the GN Archer to compliment Arios.
