Bandai Lightning Base

These items were released last Thursday (24th December 2009) and yet the staff in Japan is so efficient and managed to pack it all up and send it before they all went for their long holidays...



Geara Zulu... the improved Geara Doga? We will have a look at this next time...


Nonetheless... let's have a look at this Bandai Lightning Base... There are 3 colors released, Red, Green and Blue... Since I booked 2 Geara Zulu only, they give me 2 colors only and lucky they don't give me the Green coz I don't fancy green so much...

It has this ON or OFF switch...



At the back or underneath is where you insert the batteries..


3 pieces of AAA size required for each base....



This is how it look likes.... Red and Blue...




With 1/144 scale Gundam on it...





If you just spin or twist the plate... you can see few different LED lightning style.... just choose which one yo prefer the most...





With camera's flash turn on... still can see the LED.... cool....


1/100 scale GunPla kits can also stand on this base and I guess all other figures like Figma or Revoltech can share this one as well....

No flash - only the table lights...


Overall this is a great looking display base if you like those LED but for sure you need to invest in the power as well (3 pieces of AAA battery). If you like to see the base with LED, you should get this, otherwise, you can just skip this....
