Bye bye boxes
Been keeping most of them for several years now and suddenly last week, I just grab them, choose the candidates and that's it... next thing they are all out of the room for good.
In fact I've been thinking about what to do with the boxes for a long time now... I would love to keep them all forever if I can but sometimes we must learn to let go. It's dangerous if we get attached into one particular thing for a very long time. The good thing maybe our affection and passion on that thing or items might grow bigger and goes in deeper but if we not prepared to lose it and suddenly it gone - it can shock us or leave us traumatized maybe... LOL... perhaps traumatized is too dramatic.
Nonetheless, in memory of all the outgoing boxes - I decided to snap a last photo of them as farewell and for memory sake...
Sometimes we didn't spent enough time to appreciate the box art of the GunPla simply because we are too excited to work on the kits itself...
This is where I dumb them..... bye bye, sayonara, rest in peace my friends...
Previously... this is how it look like on a corner of the room....
Now this is all that left... some of the remaining survivors might go as well someday... but for now, they are safe...
If you wonder - those inside the HLJ boxes are basically the boxes of Figma, Revoltech, Robot Tamashii, SH Figuarts and many other type of action figures and toys that you've seen here in Shewsbury Land. I still love to keep the those Figma boxes specially... but not sure if I will really keep it forever.
Something new for a change perhaps... or just another rubbish clearance exercise....
After several days now I think I get over it... feels like nothing happen... life goes on as usual... and Shewsbury Land will move on....
Do you still keep all of your GunPla boxes accordingly? If yes, did you ever think about throwing them away?
end

ReplyDeleteWhy don't you sent for recycling? At least it's green. BTW I notice you are more Zeon lover. LOL
ReplyDeleteWell actually its not that bad at all... someday you guys may have to experience something similar but maybe in different context or situation maybe... life is like that...when we die, we have to let go many things anyway....hahahahaha....
ReplyDeleteLeon, yes you are correct - I am a Zeonist... hahahaha....Sieg Zeon.... didn't you notice that the flag of Shewsbury Land have the same color of Neo Zeon and Sazabi - red and yellow....hehehehe
ReplyDeletelol.. i wouldn't bear to throw them away FOR NOW. cos i've not accumulated enough YET. XD but i have plans to keep them.. as in, cut the corners, throw away the empty white box and keep the illustrations like huge 'cards' and put them smwhere.. it'll be more manageable i guess. =)

Hmm I always throw away the boxes cause I need the space :P But for those that I like I'll just fold and keep them aside. No doubt most of us want to keep the boxes but space is a consideration though with so many other things!!
ReplyDeleteChubby - I guess that "many other things" also includes "complains from wife" hahahahahaha... I understand that very well man... hehehehe...
ReplyDeleteI'll recycle small-medium sized boxes, keep the big boxes. =)
