S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider 2 - The First Ver.
This is the review of S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider 2 - The First Version produced by Bandai under licensed by TOEI.
The box...
Out of the box...
You will get all these stuff;
The figure....
2 red mufflers and 3 set of extra hands....
Let's have a look at the figure...
Some simple standing pose....
Well this figure is from Bandai S.H. Figuarts series and articulation is never an issue and for once, I will skip the usual kneeling pose....
Instead, I made the Kamen Rider 1 and 2 standing together side by side....
As you can see, there are only 2 obvious differences between these 2 figures, one of them in on the shoulder part;
Obviously the shoulder part of the blue Kamen Rider 1 is much better.
The other one is basically the color scheme of the same belt;
Other than that, not much to shout about, basically the same, it's just the color...
Some action pose with Kamen Rider 2;
The usual Kamen Rider Kick....
Overall, this is basically just a repaint version of S.H. Figuarts Shocker Rider that we reviewed here last time. Not much to expect apart from the color differences. You will get exactly the same stuff when you bought Kamen Rider 1 and Shocker Rider.
Nonetheless, for an avid collectors and fans of Kamen Riders who don't have the chance to collect the previous action figure of Kamen Rider 2, I guess they don't mind to add this into their collection but if you are an advance collectors looking for something different, this item might be disappointing as it is just about using different color scheme....
I still love this figure for sure and it would be a nice addition to the Kamen Rider section in Shewsbury Land.
end
The design wise looks pretty impressive, but the design don't really appeal to me lol. I just watched the Kamen Rider the First movie (2005) a few days ago.... Pretty different to current generations of KR. A good movie though. :D
ReplyDeleteI still prefer the Next version,they ahve weathering effect on them :)
ReplyDeleteNice articulation and details, would be better if the neck scarf (or what did they call it) is made from real silk or watever to give original windy effects
