Weekend fun in Tutong

Went to Tutong again last Saturday to have fun at the beach and do more photography stuff as the weather seems to be brilliant....

We brought both the Panasonic LX3 and Fujifilm HS10 to cover all aspect - indoor, portrait, macro, outdoor and long zoom - So all the photos in this article are mixtures from both camera.

After having breakfast at the "Chinese kopi-tiam", we went straight to the area called "the dead end of Tutong beach" and immediately the HS10 go out for some long zoom actions....

We have these 2 guys joining us and they have to be our model and do all this exciting action pose...

At broad day light, it's easy to capture this action pose as you can use the faster shutter speed even at low ISO settings.

Right after a few shots there, we went to the beach, the main reason for our trip that day...

The 3 prominent Shewsburians family members who also joined us....

While the 2 guys rushing for their fun swimming session, I took some time to do this figure photo first before I get wet....

Tsukasa seems to be having fun and enjoy the beach scenery.....

After that I then do all the fun photography with our human model....

One of the thing I like the most about cameras from Panasonic is this "High Speed Burst Mode" or what I personally nicknamed as "machine gun mode". Basically you can take continuous shot for as long as you want (as long as you press the shutter) and at broad day light it works very well.... you wont miss any single movement for sure....

And from there onwards I just snap these scenery photos experimenting using several lens filters that I have and hope to see the variety of differences in the final result...

The filters that I use the most this time (apart from the permanent MC-UV Filter) are the ND8 Filter (Neutral Density 8) and CPL Filter (Circular Polarizer);

It was fun, rewarding and tiring day and I hope we can do this more often..... I also managed to do some Macro shoots with my Panasonic LX3 and the Raynox MSN-202 Macro Lens. You can see that in here.
