Moon Cake and Mid Autumn Festival 2009 - Part 3 of 3
This is a straight continuation from Part 1 and Part 2.
The show is about to start...
And yes... finally here it is...
The first 3 appear to start a very long story...
The lady in white in the middle is Kuan Yin or Guan Yin... the Goddess of Mercy... a popular and prominent figure in Buddhism and Taoist mythology.
I'm not sure what this character is... I just nicknamed her as Thumbelina... hahahaha...
The language used by them is Hokkien... but that electronic display board on both side of the stage should provide the Mandarin translation of their dialogs....
More characters were slowly introduced during the course of the show...
I like the backdrop though....
This is how far I am from the stage and yet my Panasonic FZ28 can still zoom in steadily...
Despite standing... many of the folks does not mind about it... they just want to enjoy the show...
You can still visit the temple tonight or tomorrow or any days in these 1 week plus or so as the story is quite long and they will continue with it every night from 8.00pm to 12.00pm
