1/43 Shakugan no Shana II Ver. 3 Subaru Impreza WRX STi

This is a completed die cast car model at 1/43 scale from Aizu though the car is produced by Kyosho.

The original retail price is 4,200 yen (about SGD 72.00 / USD 55.00) before adding shipment charges but as at the date of this review you can grab this car at a discounted price from HLJ for only 1,200 yen (about SGD 22.00 / USD 17.00) before adding shipment charges.

The box - well not really box as this item comes with the protective clear casing as you can see from the picture below;






As it is mentioned from the above picture, the model of the car is Subaru Impreza WRX STi.


Other than that we can see the word "A-Team" all around, which means Aizu Team - I guess so.











So now let's take the car out of the display case;






The Subaru looks stunning as ever;










Not only they provide the display case but they also mounted this car on a nice display base with lot's of Japanese text written on it.






They say 672 pcs. there - so I guess that means they only made 672 pieces of this item, not sure true or not. Eventually, at first I thought this car can store up to 672 pieces of Japanese Adult Video DVDs LOL..... How radical am I to think of such thing.... LOL








And now we "released" the car from the display base;













I think the car and the "itasha decals" combination looks quite nice, Aizu did a great job on that.

More importantly, at least for me, the 1/43 scale car have all the essence of a Subaru Impreza WRX STi, the exterior details of the car is excellent.









And look at that.... breast grabbing picture right on the door, I think they are lesbian.... lovely huh?







The exhaust pipe looks "chromy" nice;






Let's have a look at the interior detailing.... it's kind of hard to peep thru the windows on 1/43 scale;






So let's just open up the car.... much easier to see the interior this way....





And from what I can see now, the interior detailing is quite impressive;











I guess that's about it.... now I put the chasis and the car body back together again.










Overall, this is a really nice die cast car model for Subaru Impreza WRX STi with "itasha" decals on it. I love the car but I don't actually really want those "itasha custom" but then again, at least at this point of time, this is the cheapest and nicely detailed 1/43 scale Subaru Impreza WRX STi. I do like the anime of "Shakugan No Shana" but I wont go as far as "itashanize" the car or in fact my car with the decals from that anime. If I were to do so, I would choose those "Lucky Star" girls ^__^

With the discounted price of 1,200 yen - this is an extremely great value for money especially if you love the Subaru Impreza WRX STi with right hand steering wheel but at the full price of 4,200 yen, I don't think I can "afford" this car ^__^
