Fast Lane - Audi TT Coupe

It's been a while since I last bought miniature die-cast car models and recently the local Toys R' Us have this promotion of "Buy 2 get 1 free" for Fast Lane and Hot Wheels cars so I decided to grab some of them. The price of this Fast Lane is now SGD 3.30 (about USD 2.60 / EUR 2.00 / 252 Yen), it was only SGD 2.95 last year.

So we start with this Audi TT Coupe, one of my favorite sports car from Audi. The Audi TT is a small two-door sports car marketed by Volkswagen Group subsidiary Audi since 1998, both assembled by the Audi subsidiary Audi Hungaria Motor Kft. in Győr, Hungary, using bodyshells manufactured and painted at Audi's Ingolstadt plant. For each of its two generations, the TT has been available as a 2+2 Coupé and as a two-seater roadster employing consecutive generations of the Volkswagen Group A platform, starting with the A4 (PQ34).

Anyway, let's have a look at this die-cast car model;

The interior detailing by Fast Lane is quite decent and at times they can be better than Hot Wheels and Tomica. Unfortunately, the interior is sealed (no openable door) and thus not much I can show on the interior.

The exterior detailing and marking is quite decent as well, so far I'm happy with what I see, the side mirror which usually missing from Hot Wheels and Tomica models are clearly visible on this one.

 

Overall, not much more I can say, this die-cast car model is indeed as good as it is. I can't afford to buy the actual car so it's good that at least I can grab this miniature model for my collection.
